Winehouse Gets Away With Smoking Drugs On Video | Facing No Police Charges

Amy Winehouse was arrested last week on suspicion of drugs possession after a video was circulated in January of her allegedly smoking crack cocaine through a pipe. She was interviewed, before being released on police bail.
Now, a week later, the Crown Prosecution Service has revealed that the singer will not face any charges, and is therefore free to go.
So how did she get away with it yet again? Because the CPS was unable to establish whether the substances seen in the video were illegal drugs or not.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“The Crown Prosecution Service has now reviewed the case and no further action is being taken.”
While I can understand that it was hard to see from video footage what what actually being smoked, Winehouse is a known drug addict and I can’t really understand the logic of not charging her with anything.
I do wonder if this would have been different if she hadn’t have been famous. This is the second time in the space of a month that Winehouse has been interviewed by the police only to be let off with nothing more than a slap on the wrists. She could have at least been ordered in to rehab!
