UK Music Charts – Nov 8 – JLS and Cheryl Cole

November 9, 2009 by Dave Parrack

The UK music charts may mean less now than they used to but they’re still an indicator of what’s hot on the popular British music scene right now. This week’s Top 10 singles and Top 10 albums are listed below.

JLS Everybody In Love

This week’s singles chart saw JLS knock Cheryl Cole off the top spot with Everybody In Love. This is the second number one for The X Factor runners-up from last year. The Black Eyed Peas climbed from six to three and Ke$ha debuted at number six with Tik Tok.

Cheryl Cole did, however, hold onto the number one album chart position. She held off Bon Jovi, who entered at number two with The Circle. The Foo Fighters entered at number four with their (surely premature) Greatest Hits, while Katherine Jenkins’ The Ultimate Collection entered at number nine.
