UK Music Charts – Dec 13 – Lady Gaga and Susan Boyle

The UK music charts may mean less now than they used to but they’re still an indicator of what’s hot on the popular British music scene right now. This week’s Top 10 singles and Top 10 albums are listed below.

Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance jumped from number three to number one in this week’s singles chart. The single has been on the charts for seven weeks so it has to be assumed it was her appearance on The X Factor last week which got people buying the record. The only new entry this week is Chuckie and LMFAO’s Let The Bass Kick In Miami Girl, entering the charts at number nine. Peter Kay drops to two, while Chipmunk moved up nine places to number ten with Look For Me.

Susan Boyle makes it three weeks in a row at number one in the albums chart with I Dreamed A Dream. Lady Gaga jumped 10 places to number two with The Fame, while Michael Buble jumped from six to three. There were no new entries in the top 10 this week, so the chart is currently looking a little stale. Both Robbie Williams and Leona Lewis saw their albums drop out of the top 10.
