Is Mick Jagger Gay?

Keith Richards has seen fit to question the sexuality of Rolling Stone band mate Mick Jagger, and after over 40 years of sharing sexual partners, there’s not anyone who would know better than Richards.

According to the NME, Richards gave an interview to GQ magazine in support of the release of Shine A Light, the Martin Scorsese directed documentary which is due in theatres from April 4th.

When asked about the rumours of Jagger’s sexuality over the years, Richards said:

“I really have no idea if anyone ever shoved it up the shitter. I’m not there watching it every day. But there was, at the time, a load of excruciatingly painful campness that went on.”

What a way with words he has!

Step forward Keith Richards, the Rolling Stone with the worst reputation for being a big party animal.

64 year old Keith Richards, so he’s eligible for a free bus pass, gave an interview to the Mail On Sunday in which they asked him about which current musicians he rates.

He replied:

“There’s only one person, that girl Amy. Mind you, that girl isn’t going to be around long unless she sorts herself out pretty quick. Amy’s got to get smart.”

“I’m not a preacher. But I’ve been there and you have to pass it on.”

The Rolling Stones Ditch EMI For Universal - At Least For The ‘Shine A Light’ Soundtrack

EMI isn’t having a good year, ermm well 2007, or 2008 to be honest. They’ve already lost big hitting British acts Radiohead, and Paul McCartney, and now it looks like The Rolling Stones may also be weighing up their options.

Today they have announced a deal with Universal to release the soundtrack for their Martin Scorsese directed concert film, and that could just be the start of the end for a long 16 year relationship between the embattled music publisher, and legendary rock band.

The Rolling Stones Ditch EMI For Universal - At Least For The ‘Shine A Light’ Soundtrack

The Rolling Stones released a statement saying:

“The band are looking forward to working with Universal Music and are excited about this new venture.”

The Universal Music Label will release the Shine A Light soundtrack around the world in March, a month after the film premieres at the Berlin International Film Festival in February.
