Amy Winehouse Set For Two Glastonbury Sets? | Caviar Helped Cure Skin Condition

April 5, 2008 by Dave Parrack

Amy Winehouse continues her fight to keep the tabloid newspaper and music magazine journalists (as well as simple bloggers such as me) in gainful employment.

Today, we have two pieces of gossip about her which are doing the rounds. While I can’t state categorically that either are true, I feel it is at least my duty to pass them on.

Amy Winehouse Beluga Caviar Skin Cream

Firstly, with three days left until tickets for Glastonbury 2008 go on sale (April 6th is the day when there are thousands of disappointed fans cursing Michael Eavis up and down the country), rumours have emerged that Winehouse will be performing twice at the festival this year.

One regular appearance has already been confirmed, NME are reporting that a second, smaller, secret gig by the Rehab singer, and five time Grammy award winner, could be on the cards.

It wouldn’t be the first time such a secret, unplanned gig had taken place, with Pete Doherty, Lily Allen and others doing similar stunts in recent years, but for Amy, who sometimes can’t even be bothered to turn up for one scheduled gig, to do it, would be quite amazing.

She’ll be hoping her mystery skin condition has cleared up by then, and according to the Daily Star (so it must be true…) she’s attempting to help herself with the aid of Royal Caspian Beluga caviar.

Amy Winehouse’ Grammy Performance | Sings ‘Rehab’ & ‘You Know I’m No Good’

February 12, 2008 by Dave Parrack

Yesterday saw Amy Winehouse win five Grammy awards, to become the most successful artist at this, the 50th annual Grammies. She also sang a two song medley of Rehab and You Know I’m No Good from a London studio, after having her application for a Visa turned down until it was too late for her to make the trip.

Here, in case anyone missed it, is her performance…

She’s definitely looking better than she has for the last year or so, clean, sober, and drug free. In fact, the only thing she looks high on is the enthusiasm for being on stage, and singing in front of a crowd again. Something which has been sorely lacking of late.

Now she just needs to make 2008 a drug free year, and get back to what this proves she does best: making brilliant music.
