May 18, 2008 by Dave Parrack

Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil Planning Second WeddingThe last month has seen intense speculation over the state of Amy Winehouse’ relationship with jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

I reported back in April how Winehouse had stopped visiting Blake and even forgot his birthday. Then later, it was reported than Blake was after a £3 million payout in the event of a divorce.

Now however, everything seems to be back on track, and the couple are reportedly planning a second wedding to renew their vows and to prove to the press and public how in love they are with each other.

According to The Sunday Mirror newspaper, the couple are planning a ceremony in East London as soon as Fielder-Civil is released from Pentonville Prison.

Paul McCartney New Album Free With ‘The Mail On Sunday’ Tomorrow May 18th

May 17, 2008 by Dave Parrack

Memory Almost Full Album CoverPaul McCartney has had a mixed last few years, having been married to Heather Mills, and then going through a very messy, very public divorce.

While all of this was going on, he was still writing and recording music, and released Memory Almost Full in 2007.

The album has already sold 100,000 copies in the UK, but now everyone who wants a copy can do so for free, as it’s being given away with every copy of The Mail On Sunday tomorrow, May 18th.

The give-away was announced a couple of weeks ago, and I first read the news on fellow b5 blog The Beatles Invasion. I decided to wait until now to tell of my readers so that they wouldn’t forget about it and miss out on their copy.

Amy Winehouse Wants To Start Own Record Label | Blake Wants £3 Million Divorce Payout

April 30, 2008 by Dave Parrack

Amy Winehouse seems to be in the process of sorting her life out. She’s apparently split with Blake Fielder-Civil, and is looking to start her own record label with alleged new squeeze Alex Haines.

Although the split has yet to be confirmed, reports are already emerging that Fielder-Civil is looking for a £3 million payout in the event of a divorce. She has already spoken to her financial advisers about keeping her fortune safe from Blake, but without a pre-nup (surprise surprise), the chances are he’ll get something out of it.

Amy seems to have already moved on to Alex Haines, her manager’s assistant. And not only are they said to be together, they are making business plans.

Amy Winehouse Wants To Start Own Record Label

Winehouse is currently signed to Island Records, but the deal ends after her next album, whenever it ends up arriving. Rather than signing another deal, Amy is thought to be planning to start her own record label, and signing up friends Tyler James and Remi Nicole in to the bargain.

Island Records are desperate for Winehouse to get clean and finish her third album for them, and they want it to be a classic which makes even more money for them than Back To Black has. Winehouse seems to finally be wising up to the fact that the world is her oyster, and with control of her own destiny, she could make an even bigger fortune than she already has.

Paul McCartney Planning Huge World Tour To Pay For Heather Mills Divorce Payout

April 11, 2008 by Dave Parrack

Paul McCartney Planning Huge World TourPaul McCartney finally managed to get rid of the “one-legged bitch”, (his words not mine allegedly) Heather Mills last month, when she was awarded almost $50 million to shut up and go away.

Although she seems to be determined to keep herself in the press by bitching about McCartney at every opportunity, he seems to be determined to move on, and to that end, is planning a huge world tour, probably to get away from her, and help pay the divorce settlement bill.

According to the NME, the tour is being planned for Autumn of this year, with countries being visited including the UK, the USA, Canada and Australia.

It’s claimed that McCartney’s representatives have been busy meeting concert promoters around the world to set up the tour. The 50,000 capacity Halifax Common venue in Nova Scotia, Canada, is thought to be a definite on the list of venues.

The tour dates are set to be finalised and announced in May.
