Spice Girls To Add More Dates To World Tour? | You Could Choose ‘Spice City’

The Spice Girls could be about to add a whole new set of dates and venues to their reunion world tour, taking place in December and January. Reports suggest that Simon Fuller, the group’s manager wants them to add another 25 dates to the current 11 already announced.
The Spice Girls have each been promised at least £10 million for the currently scheduled tour, and that could more than double if the extra dates are indeed agreed upon. There’s certainly the demand for tickets there, with the amount of people signing up on the website far exceeding the amount of tickets available.
The thing is, each one of The Spice Girls has now moved on a bit from days of old and all have families to consider. I wonder if the lure of money will be enough to tempt them to increase the time spent on the road.
Victoria definitely doesn’t need the cash, as her superstar footballer husband David Beckham is now paid a massive amount by the L.A. Galaxy. Mel C was enjoying a relatively successful solo career, and Mel B will probably get enough from Eddie Murphy to not need to work ever again.
Actually, do any of The Spice Girls need the money? They were one of the biggest pop bands ever to have (dis)graced our planet, so surely money’s no longer an issue?
There’s definitely going to be 1 extra concert on the tour at least, with the girls letting the fans decide where the extra date will be. According to the official website…
“It’s impossible for us to perform everywhere, but we thought why not let our fans decide where we play? This is your chance to turn your City into ‘Spice City’. All you need to do is tell us where you want to see us!”
“The city with the most votes will become ‘Spice City’ and we’ll definitely come and play there as part of our tour. It really is up to you to decide which city becomes ‘Spice City’ so get voting!“
Or you could not, it’s a free country after all. Well, I assume you’re living in a free country while you’re reading this, but I can’t be 100% sure obviously. As long as you’re not living in Spice World, I think you’ll be ok.
