Robbie Williams’ Mum Predicts He Will Rejoin Take That At Some Point In The Future
December 6, 2007 by Dave Parrack
Ever since Take That announced their intention to get back together, fans and music industry pundits alike have been wondering if and when Robbie Williams would join his old sparring partners to become a five piece again.
It hasn’t happened yet, but doesn’t seem to have badly affected Take That’s comeback, with them looking fitter, and recording better music than ever before.
But, Robbie Williams’ mum has now revealed that she thinks Robbie will join his old group at some point in the future, telling the Stoke Sentinel via Digital Spy:
“On the question of him doing something with them, I feel that will happen. It would be something he wanted to do.”
She also said that her son was happy with Take That’s recent success, and would enjoy a reunion tour with the lads.
There have been various reports recently about Robbie’s health, both physically and emotionally, but his mum Jan, assured everyone he was doing well:
“He’s okay, he’s fine, he’s on a good recovery.”
“He’s enjoying his life and his football and going out with the lads and having a laugh. It’s great to see.”
“He’s doing a lot of writing, he spends a lot of time in his studio. He’s in a very good place.”
I’m glad to hear he’s doing better than reports are suggesting, and think it would be a really positive step for him to hook up with Gary Barlow and the others to plan a proper reunion tour, with all five present.
On the Take That reunion tour, Robbie was rendered as a computer image in the background, but a real life appearance would be much more welcome.
