Joss Stone Bitches At British Fans Again

Oh dear, the English rose turned wannabee American diva Joss Stone has done it again, and bitched at her British fans.
This time, she’s fighting back over the claims that she’s changed her accent to try and be more American, and claimed it’s normal after spending time in another country.
Stone was originally mocked for the half British half American accent she displayed at last year’s Brit awards, with fans laughing at her on stage.
She told The Independent newspaper:
“At the end of the day, I don’t give a fuck if people have a problem with my accent. That’s all I can say about it.”
“The words I say do not change. If the way that it sounds is skew-whiff and you don’t like it, don’t listen. I’m not being a cruel person by sounding a different way. I made my album with a bunch of Americans.”
“When people go to Australia for two weeks they come back sounding Australian, but the whole world doesn’t turn round and say, ‘Well, fuck you.’ Which is basically what England had done.”
“Obviously not everybody in England. But the big press people. They were just like, ‘You know what? We’ve decided we don’t like you anymore’.”
Well to be honest, I’ve decided I don’t like you any more either Joss, and I’m not one of those “big press people”, just a blogger and British music fan.
Not only have you seemingly turned your back on your British fans, who without their support, you wouldn’t actually be anyone or anywhere now, especially not making a name for yourself in the USA, but then you’ve criticised them for criticising you. Good move, way to get them back on side.
Do yourself, and all of us a favour, and just move over to America permanently. Then you can work on the accent and start sounding like an LA hooker quicker than I can burn your albums.
Or more importantly, who cares?
If she wants to be American, why doesn’t she just stay in America? Sometimes, you can’t go home again. I’ve haven’t heard this girl sing. Soul? That would be cool if she can get her groove on. But can she do that without pissing off folks?
