Gary Barlow Believes Robbie Williams Will Rejoin Take That… One Day
December 3, 2008 by Dave Parrack

Ever since Robbie Williams left Take That way back in 1995, there have been calls from the fans for the group to reunite as one again. But while Take That have indeed come back together as a foursome, there’s still no sign of Robbie rejoining. Instead, he seems determined to carry on attempting to crack America as a solo artist.
A full reunion was never really on the cards seeing as Williams left Take That suddenly, leaving relationships strained. But Gary Barlow and co seem to have now got over the bad feelings they may have felt towards Robbie, and have started to rebuild their relationships with the L.A. based singer.
Last month saw Barlow and Williams spotted together for the first time in over 10 years when they met at a football match. The pair agreed to be interviewed live on Sky Sports, and shared a hug, a joke, and a laugh.
But is the new friendliness between the former band mates a sign of a reunion to come? While Take That are doing fantastically well since they reformed in 2005, Robbie has been having a bit of a torrid time, with his last album panned by the critics, and personal problems still plaguing his day-to-day life.
Gary Barlow should know better than anyone what the chances are of Robbie rejoining the Take That fold, so BBC Newsbeat asked him his opinion. He said:
“As long as we’re alive people are going to ask if we’re going to get back together. I do believe we will one day, I just don’t know when.”
“The five of us were together a lot over the summer and it just felt like we were back in the ’90s. I get an email every week from Rob, Mark [Owen] gets one every other week, J [Jason Orange] phones him once a week.”
“We’re all keeping in touch. It’s really fun getting to know him again, I must say. The five of us are rebuilding our friendship, and that’s really the only place to start.”
Rebuilding friendships is clearly the only way to begin, but I still have my doubts as to whether Robbie will ever be a member of Take That again. The past tensions will be put aside, and Robbie may well make an appearance or two at a Take That gig, but I doubt whether his ego and pride will ever allow him to rejoin the group he left so spectacularly.

ROBBIE’S A FOOL IF HE JOINS THEM, HE’S BIGGER WITHOUT THEM, THERE NOTHING BY THEMSELVES….REMEMBER THAT WHEN THEY SPLIT AGAIN, ROBBIE WILL ALWAYS BE THE UK NUMBER ONE, GARY BARLOW CAN BOAST ALL HE WANTS …BUT HE HAS NOTHING WITH OUT ALL OF THEM TOGETHER….JUST WATCH THEM SOLO AGAIN WHEN THEY FLOP, ROBBIE HAS HIS OWN FANS, EVEN THOUGH HE HAS A LOT OF TAKE THAT FANS, HE HAS TO WATCH HIS OWN FANS AS THEY ARE ROBBIE FANS MOSTLY…AND NOT ALL TAKE THAT FANS I KNOW I’M ONE OF THEM, , AND GARY BARLOW JUST WANTS TO CASH IN ON HIM, AND ALL THEY HAVE DONE IS INCLUDE ROBBIE IN THERE INTERVIEWS, …MMM SO THATS WHY IT IS SO SUCCESSFUL…IS IT BECAUSE ROBBIE IS SELLING IT, SOME OF MY PALS WENT TO THE REUNION JUST TO SEE ROBBIE, WELL BARLOW SHOULDN’T INCLUDE HIM, BECAUSE ONE DAY IT COULD BACKFIRE ON HIM, AND HOW CAN GARY BARLOW CALL BRITNEY…HELLO….YOU CANT SING AND DANCE YOUR SELF, AND YOU WRITE KAREOKE RECORDS…….SO THATS WHY THE NEW ALBUM IS CALLED THE CIRCUS, BECAUSE THERE ARE CLOWNS IN THE GROUP,
MARIA….
BIG ROBBIE FAN….HATES TAKE THAT…YUKKK
maria what a pathetic post, robbie is nothing, but take that are probably going to help him rebuild his career, cos they are great guys, he should be greatful because he’s past it
Well fully agree with most of dens post exept for the part about robbie bieng nothing. he is in a very bad place and needs to be pulled out of it, maybe success as part of take that will help him someway with it. it will definatly help him to rebuild his career in the uk, and as a ‘big robbie fan’ shouldnt you want him to have some kind of success wether that be with or without take that, as im sure most of his fans would like to see him back to his old self either way. i think personally you have issues with something about gary, as if it wasnt for his songwriting skills the band that robbie was born from would never have made him a big enough success to even warrent this argument.
(and before it is said, i am a massive robbie fan and have met the man himself a few times)
I’m a fan of both
I just don’t c how the old Robbie vs Gary feud relates 2 this article. Xoxo
P.S, Robbie will do as HE pleases wit his life. He is his own person. I respect his choice either way. The guy [Robbie Williams] has had 2 battle wit very personal problems. So if u can’t accept it if he DOES rejoin Take That…then u can’t b a real fan.
