Dionne Bromfield To Support Amy Winehouse On Tour?
November 28, 2009 by Dave Parrack
It really is about who you know rather than what you know. Which is why Dionne Bromfield is one of the luckiest young girls in the U.K. right now. Amy Winehouse just happens to be her godmother, Bromfield just happens to be signed to her record label, and it now seems as though the pair are to tour together.

Bromfield revealed the plans during a brief interview with the Daily Star at the launch of Singstar: Take That on Wednesday night. That’s the same event where Speech Debelle found herself booed off stage after rapping Pray.
Bromfield, who sang Patience (and didn’t get booed off) at the event, revealed:
“I am too young to tour at the moment but at the end of 2010, around September, I should be the support act to a certain somebody.”
As much as Bromfield has clearly got a leg up in the industry thanks to her connection to Winehouse, she’s actually a very good singer and a little pop star in the making. And were I to go and see Amy Winehouse on tour I’d be more than happy to see Bromfield fill one of the support slots.
