N-Dubz’ Dappy Apologizes For Sending Death Threat Texts
January 15, 2010 by Dave Parrack
Everyone who is in the public eye or who has any dealings with the public is sometimes going to come face-to-face with haters. Just ask any traffic warden, policeman, or humble blogger such as myself. The difference is how you handle it; some people clearly can’t.
Take Dappy from N-Dubz, the one who always wears the stupid hats. Who, it has emerged, sent a non-fan a death threat after she criticized him and N-Dubz when they appeared on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio 1.
UK Music Charts – Nov 22 – X Factor Finalists & Leona
November 22, 2009 by Dave Parrack
The UK music charts may mean less now than they used to but they’re still an indicator of what’s hot on the popular British music scene right now. This week’s Top 10 singles and Top 10 albums are listed below.
The X Factor Finalists hit number one in the singles chart with their cover of You Are Not Alone in what must be the biggest non-surprise of the year. They knocked Black Eyed Peas off the top spot. The 193,000 copies sold means the single is the second biggest of the year in the British music charts. Jason Derulo entered at …read more

The UK music charts may mean less now than they used to but they’re still an indicator of what’s hot on the popular British music scene right now. This week’s Top 10 singles and Top 10 albums are listed below.
This week’s singles chart has seen a bit of an upset. The Black Eyed Peas managed to jump from number three to number one with Meet Me Halfway, keeping Leona Lewis off the top spot. Whether you like them or not you have to give N-Dubz credit for what they’ve achieved. And they’re set to achieve a lot more in the future, especially with other big name artists queuing up to collaborate with them.
2009 Mobo Awards Winners – JLS and N-Dubz Clean Up
October 1, 2009 by Dave Parrack
The Mobo (Music Of Black Origin) Awards are a strange one because they only recognize music that has its roots in one culture. Unlike every other big awards ceremony in the UK which celebrate music in all its forms no matter where it derived from. Having said that, it could be argued that all music has black roots so the Mobo Awards actually don’t exclude anyone.
This year’s Mobo Awards were held at the SECC in Glasgow. The night saw some deserving winners but some sadly overlooked artists missing out, especially Dizzee Rascal and Tinchy Stryder, both of whom have had …read more
N-Dubz Playing Wireless – Tulisa Finds Festivals A Challenge
June 25, 2009 by Dave Parrack
N-Dubz aren’t my favorite group in the world, or even in the U.K., but they are growing on me and I do have a grudging respect for their music and how they’ve become hugely successful. The group are currently working on a follow-up to their debut album, Uncle B, and preparing to play the Wireless Festival in London in July.
Last month, while N-Dubz were riding high in the charts with their collaboration with Tinchy Stryder, Number 1, Tulisa was rushed to hospital with suspected swine flu. It turned out to be nothing of the sort, and she actually just had …read more
