Most fans of the British music scene have an opinion on Oasis splitting up, whether that opinion is that it was about time or whether it was a sad day for music. This even extends to contemporaries of the Gallaghers such as Ian Brown, who in his role as lead singer of the Stone Roses had a huge effect on the band.

Ian Brown States No Stone Roses Reunion – For At Least Three Lifetimes AKA Ever

The Stone Roses are one of the best bands to have ever come out of Britain, but their musical legacy was pitifully small due to only two albums being produced before they split up. Although that was way back in 1996, there have been numerous calls for them to reunite from the public and band members alike.
