Amy Winehouse Is Suicidal | Refusing Rehab Even After Drugs Collapse

Amy Winehouse seems to be on the verge of mental and physical meltdown at the moment. On Wednesday she was rushed to hospital after allegedly suffering from a drugs overdose, although her record company Island claim it was “severe exhaustion”. Regardless of the reasons, it’s claimed she was taken to London’s University College Hospital in a semi conscious state by her husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
Although she’s now been discharged, The Sun newspaper claim that during the hospital trip she had her stomach pumped and was given an emergency adrenaline shot. The cause of the collapse? Again, The Sun claim to know the truth.
She took ecstasy, cocaine and horse tranquilliser ketamine during a pub crawl across London — washed down with vodka and whisky.
Her husband Blake Fielder-Civil and a female pal took her to A&E when she started foaming at the mouth and fitting.
Now they are also claiming she may have smoked heroin on the night of the collapse. Anyone who does that combination of vices is going to end up in a bad place, so what is Amy thinking?
Winehouse is now said to be staying in a hotel in Hampshire, where she has been visited by doctors and a psychiatrist. Since the overdose, she is said to have barely eaten, been sick all the time, and contemplating thoughts of suicide. But a family friend told The Sun “Amy is determined that she will NOT go to rehab.”
Right, come on Amy, get yourself sorted out. We all like a drink now and then, and the odd dalliance with drugs is pretty accepted in this day and age. But, when you start mixing a huge array of drink and drugs in one session, you are pretty much laying yourself open to death, and it seems you came quite close the other night.
I can’t understand the logic, as Amy Winehouse’s career is pretty much peaking right now, with huge successes around the world, including America, the country so many British musicians try to conquer and fail miserably. Maybe that’s the problem?
A girl who already seemed to have an addictive personality is suddenly thrust in to the limelight, and has media attention shone on her 24 hours a day. It can get too much for some. And as has been the curse of so many artists over the last 50 years, you can now afford to spend as much as you like on whatever quick thrills take your fancy.
But Amy, you’re not invincible, or superhuman, and you obviously need help. None of us will hold it against you if you do actually go to rehab. Just do it, and start being the shining light of the British Music Scene once again.
it’s not about logic.. there is no logic for doing drugs or for having an addiction and overdosing whether accidental or not..
there is no logic to pain and suffering and there is no logic to wanting to escape.
that, i guess is the sad part about her life.
I’m certain that each individual is beautiful in one way or another…that is the way God created us, remember? In His image. So, to say someone is ugly is to say the image of God is ugly. We all possess some type of unique talent. Some kind of beauty. Far from perfection each of us stands, longing for it. Although, we are not yet perfect…no one is, we each have both, something to learn, and something to teach one another. That is beauty beyond our understanding unless we choose to embrace it.

Ok “Jim”, I personally think that you have got to lay off of the crack. You think your perfect, hard working, innocent, and the immage of a good person…well news flash hunny, YOUR WRONG! You have got to be the most ungrateful bastards I’ve ever heard of, and you think you have the right to belittle everyone else that you see in your eyes as a “crackhead” …your additude with other people is worse than a begger on the streets trying to get money for his/her fix, at least they’re nice. And before you go on trying to belittle me and calling me a so called “crack head”, yes I was a user for quite some time, i went through my addiction, I have been clean for over 7 years and thats without rehab, you have obviously never done “drugs” therefore your oppinions on drug users are “irrelevant” you dont know what its like to go through an addiction like alot of people do, you just see people that use drugs and think you are better than them, well news flash, you are no better than anyone else, what makes you a better person…you know most of the best known talent came from drug users, like Elvis Presley, or Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison…and that is some amazing tallent. Let me tell you something “Jim” maybe you should go smoke some crack, or do a line of blow and try to just quit, I bet you have an addictive personallity seeing as you are addicted to belittling others, I bet you would even suck dick for another hit before you decide to “go to rehab” so think again before decide to put down others, because whatever goes around comes around, and karma my friend will bite you right in the ass. Its very hard to quit an addiction, and for Amy I really hope she pulls through, I’ve seen too many people go down from drugs its really sad, as fun as it is to get high, its not worth what it does to your body.
